Ramsons resort

My favourite place and an awesome place to stay for a holiday and the best getaway from the busy life...its one of the best beach huts in goa...the view is amazing as it's on the beach facing the sea....the rooms are good and so is the restaurant setting with the food and service being good too....overall worth it.....
Good quality of huts
By GoaGoaG on e
As it was off season we came down to Agonda from Varca area and managed to get a lovely beach front hut. The huts are adequately furnished, big comfy mattress (could have done extra pillows to suit our nambi pambi western necks !) Lovely large bathroom/wetroom with gratis soaps and handwash.Didn't need or pay for the a/c perhaps because its on the beach facing front Good quality large wooden sunbeds on the beach The restaurant is ran seperately and the staff we encountered (Sasi & Ankit ) were helpful and fun, food is ok standard but prices have gone up from our previous visits, when I questioned the manageress about 130rs for a Schweppes 50rs tonic she said 'its been a bad season'- uh? So put prices up to make up the customer shortfall !! Food ok but red Thai was crap, tastless, wife had Canneloni but the pasta was bread with the bechamel type white sauce over it -uh?. Veg lasagne was fine though, restaurant NEEDS to do BETTER
great place, shame about the welcome
By 61jantie on March 1, 2017
The accommodation we had paid for was already occupied, so no sea front, we did have a sea view. The staff were not very welcoming, it took them all the time to get off the bed and open the curtain. The cabin was hot with no a/c. nowhere to hang clothes, a small cupboard to store them. The shower room was clean with hot water. Only 1 sheet to a bed with a fleece blanket to cover if cold during the night, not so sure this was replaced after each guest. the rooms were cleaned every other day and the sheets changed. No safes or security boxes on site. The on site restaurant which was run independently was faultless the food was very good the staff polite good humoured and very welcoming. No kettle in the room so dependant on the restaurant for early cups of tea/coffee
Nice beach, cold welcome
By Hetty K on February 7, 2017
Although the place is perfect, we were surprised by the cold welcome at the reception. The manager didn't stand up from his matress when he told us the number of our cabin. In the cabin were just one sheet and two thin towels. When we asked for more, we received an extra sheet and better towels. Each time I asked something to the manager, he was grumpy and opened the curtains to answer me while he kept on laying on the bed. Staf wasn't too friendly.
Nice cottages on the beach
By Gopi_RGC on January 21, 2017
Had a pleasant stay in beach view cottage #12. The cottage seem to be new, clean and nice. The storage cabinet had no hangar stand which meant we have to dump used clothes in. The room was compact and was little tight to put extra bed for my daughter. The nice view of the clean beach and super sunset view made up for the limitations, if any. The breakfast was arranged with adjoining Rama restaurant. A total for Rs 500 was adjusted on the breakfast bill per day, which I felt is low. Recommend that ask for room only cost as there are better options for breakfast nearby. The location of the cottage is near the end of beach which makes it nicer. The beach is very good and clean. Thoroughly enjoyed the swim and jog on the about 2 km stretch of the beach. Nice options for food all around. Will visit again to Agonda. Looks like all the hotels in the beach should be equally good and one can choose the cottage depending on their budget. Awesome beach and will visit again.
